Valve types in the AVK Industrial range

The manufacturer’s “AVK Industrial Valves” brochure for power plants lists the following groups, each available with different body, disc and seat materials to suit the project:

• High-performance and double eccentric butterfly valves (wafer, lug, single flange or double flange).
• Centric butterfly valves with rubber lining or loose liner; flanged double eccentric butterfly valves for large pipework (DN200 to DN2200).
• Full bore ball valves and high-pressure ball valves (some types rated up to 420 bar).
• Knife gate valves (unidirectional and bidirectional) and penstocks, wall or channel mounted.
• Metal-seated and resilient-seated gate valves, swing check valves and recoil (non-slam) check valves.

Size, pressure and temperature limits differ by type; send your requirement so CAD can match the right valve to your conditions.

What to send for a quote

• Valve type (butterfly, ball, knife gate, gate, check, penstock) and size in DN or NPS.
• Working pressure (PN or Class), temperature and medium (water, wastewater, slurry, chemical, gas).
• End connection (wafer, lug, flanged, weld) and flange standard.
• Operation: lever, handwheel gearbox, pneumatic or electric actuator.
• Preferred body, disc and seat materials, project name and quantity.
