    • DIN flange PN 40 or Flange Class 300, Class 600 according to ANSI 16.5 with transition pieces in DN 25, DN 40, DN 50
  • Supplemental fixture (as requested by customer):
    • Electrical and pneumatic remote setpoint adjustment

    • Fitted with noise-reducing outlet device flanges PN 40 or Class 600 according to ANSI 16.5

    • Pipe connection for use with SSVs HON 703 and/or 704.

All mechanical components of this device are without potential ignition sources and/ or hot faces. They are not subject to ATEX 95 (94/9/EC). All electronic accessories, on the other hand, meet ATEX requirements.

Design and operating principle

The HON 200 consists of the main valve assembly (valve and diaphragm actuator) and a two-stage pilot assembly (load-limiting stage and pilot control stage), with a fine mesh filter upstream of the pilot. The manufacturer uses the pressure difference between inlet and outlet as auxiliary energy; the pilot compares the measured outlet pressure with the setpoint (spring force) and adjusts the loading pressure on the main valve to hold the outlet pressure steady. The regulator closes tight at zero consumption. The usual pilots are the HON 610 (RS 10 d) and HON 650; electrical or pneumatic remote setpoint adjustment can be added.

Seat sizes and inlet pressure limits

Valve seat diameter (mm) 5 6 8 12 18 23
Max. inlet pressure (bar) 100 100 100 80 40 25
Flow coefficient KG (m³/h, natural gas) 12 25 50 125 200 250

Accuracy class AC from 1 to 10 and closing pressure group SG depend on the outlet pressure range and seat diameter; lock-up pressure zone class SZ 2.5; minimum pressure difference about 1 to 1.5 bar. Temperature range class 2: -20 to +60 °C. Main valve body in aluminium alloy or steel; diaphragms and O-rings in Perbunan; pipe size DN 25.

Standards and options

  • Function and strength to DIN EN 334; CE registration under PED; DIN DVGW registration NG-4301AR0881.
  • The mechanical parts have no potential ignition sources and are not subject to ATEX 95; electronic accessories meet ATEX requirements.
  • Options on request: electrical or pneumatic remote setpoint adjustment, noise-reducing outlet device (PN 40 or Class 600 flanges), connection for the HON 703 / HON 704 safety shut-off valves, outdoor version, oxygen version.
