Applications
According to Tecofi, the F6246 Y-strainer protects installations and the equipment on them against impurities and large solid particles. Areas of use: hydraulic installations, chemical and pharmaceutical networks, petrochemical industries, compressed air. Fluids: steam and other compatible fluids.
Features and maintenance
- Stainless steel body and bonnet; the stainless steel screen is easily removed by loosening the screws on the bonnet.
- A purge plug on the bonnet lets impurities be evacuated without disassembling the strainer.
- Install horizontally or vertically with downward flow; the direction is shown by an arrow on the body.
- Range DN15 to DN200; maximum working pressure 16 bar; working temperature -25 °C to +180 °C.

- Face-to-face according to EN 558-1 series 1 and DIN 3202/1 series F1.
- Flanges according to DIN 2501, EN 1092-2 PN10/16.
