Tecofi PVS4251A PN25 Cast Iron Air Release Valve
PVS4251A is a Tecofi (France) single-chamber, single-function air release valve: ductile iron body, flanged to EN 1092-2, with a 1″ isolation valve, in sizes DN25–DN150, used to vent or purge air pockets in water pipelines. Difference from PVS4241A
- Sizes: PVS4251A covers DN25, 40/50/60, 65, 80, 100 and 150; PVS4241A shows DN100 only in its datasheet.
- Flange: PN10/16/25 (PN25 for DN100–150, DN100: K=190, 8 holes Ø23); PVS4241A is headed PN10/16 (DN100: K=180, 8 holes Ø19).
- Bolts, nuts and washers: stainless steel 316 (PVS4241A uses carbon steel).
- Medium: water and compatible liquids (PVS4241A also names waste water).
- The PVS4251A datasheet adds: the valve can be fitted at any peak of a pipeline where the pressure is greater than 0.2 bar, up to the maximum working pressure.
