Applications and construction
VOC4241C2C is the version of the VOC4241C-00 resilient-seat gate valve fitted with limit switches. According to the manufacturer’s technical passport for this series, the valve is intended for water supply, water treatment, irrigation and sanitation; the fluid is water, wastewater or other non-aggressive neutral liquids. It is used for ON/OFF or control duty.
- Ductile iron wedge covered with a thick EPDM elastomer layer; when closed the wedge presses onto the flat bottom of the body, so debris such as sand and gravel is flushed away on opening.
- Full bore when fully open, no retention zone, low pressure drop.
- Body and bonnet epoxy coated inside and outside; the paint system meets corrosion category C5 (C5H) per NF EN ISO 12944.
- Top seal made of EPDM O-rings; stainless steel 420 stem.
