Applications
According to Tecofi, the VOC4241C is for water supply and treatment, irrigation and sanitation. Fluids: water, waste water and non-aggressive neutral liquids.
Construction
- Resilient seat gate valve with a ductile iron body and non-rising stem, for ON/OFF or control operation; range DN40 to DN400.
- Ductile iron wedge covered with a thick layer of elastomer (EPDM); at the end of closing it presses onto the flat bottom of the valve, absorbing impurities such as sand and gravel, which are returned to the fluid from the first moment of opening.
- Body and bonnet assembled by screws protected by a moulded sealing gasket; the upper part is sealed by O-rings; full bore when fully open with no retention zone.
- Epoxy coating inside and outside the body and bonnet; the paint system meets corrosion category C5, high durability C5H, in accordance with NF EN ISO 12944.
- Maximum working pressure 16 bar; working temperature up to +110 °C (+85 °C for WRAS applications).
Standards and approvals
- Manufactured to EN 1171 / EN 1074; flanges to EN 1092-2 ISO PN10 and PN16; face-to-face to EN 558 series 14 – F4 (short pattern).
- Pressure test according to EN 12266-1.
- Health certificate of compliance (ACS) no. 21 ACC LY 015 and WRAS certification no. 1606373 (as stated by Tecofi).
