Tecofi cast-iron butterfly valves
A butterfly valve throttles or shuts off flow with a disc that turns a quarter turn; it is more compact and lighter than a gate valve of the same size, which is why it is so common in water, HVAC and plant pipework. Tecofi (France) offers ductile iron EN-GJS-400-15 bodies in wafer, lug or flanged form, nickel-plated cast-iron or 316 stainless discs, and for many models a lever version (-02) and a gearbox version (-08); VPG4448 also comes with an ON/OFF electric actuator. CWT butterfly valves from NPS 2" to 36" are listed too.

How does a wafer valve differ from a lug valve?
A wafer valve is clamped between two pipe flanges; a lug valve has threaded lugs that take bolts on each flange side. The two do the same job; only the mounting differs.
Lever or gearbox?
A lever (-02) is quick and simple for small sizes; a gearbox (-08) cuts the effort on large sizes. For remote operation choose the electric-actuator version. Send the DN, pressure and medium and a CAD engineer will pick the model.
