Applications
According to the manufacturer, Midas suits semiconductor processing, light industrial manufacturing, university laboratories, aerospace and wastewater. It monitors points up to 100 ft (30 m) away using a sampling pump with flow regulation.
Sensors and the Pyrolyzer module
- Plug-and-play smart sensor cartridge, pre-calibrated with an electronic calibration certificate; cartridges are replaced quickly without manual recalibration.
- NF3, CH2F2 (difluoromethane), C4F6 (hexafluorobutadiene), CH3F (methyl fluoride) and C5F8 (octafluorocyclopentene) need the optional Midas Pyrolyzer module, which connects to any Midas detector and runs from the detector’s 24 VDC or PoE supply. The Pyrolyzer heater assembly has a lifespan of more than 2 years.
- Reflex sensor health check and TempraSure temperature compensation improve reliability.
Communication and integration
- 3 built-in Form C relays: Alarm 1, Alarm 2 and Fault.
- Isolated analog output with fault and event reporting; Modbus/TCP Ethernet to control and alarm systems.
- Power over Ethernet (PoE): a single Ethernet cable carries power, control and communication.
- Keypad interface, large multicolour backlit LCD and a remote web browser interface; password-protected menus; event log.
What to send for a quote
