Flow measurement
A flow meter shows how much liquid or gas passes through a pipe for operation, cost control and process control. Electromagnetic meters measure conductive liquids with no moving parts in the flow.

- Non-conductive fluids need another measuring principle

Can an electromagnetic meter measure oil?
No, oil is not conductive; use another principle such as mass or ultrasonic.
Must the pipe be full?
Yes, the pipe must be full for a correct reading.
