Portable gas detectors
A portable gas detector is worn or carried and alarms when hazardous gas exceeds set limits. Multi-gas types usually measure combustible gas, oxygen, CO and H2S together; specialist models measure VOC or a single toxic gas.

Does a gas monitor need calibration?
Yes, regular bump tests and periodic calibration per manufacturer instructions keep it accurate.
