A check valve lets the medium flow one way only and closes by itself on reverse flow, protecting pumps and pipework. Tecofi offers three types: swing, spring and butterfly (dual-plate) check valves in brass, bronze, stainless or cast iron, with BSP threads at both ends or wafer between flanges.
| Type | Model | Materials | Connection | Working pressure |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Swing | CB2143W | Bronze body, NBR disc | BSP female both ends | 20 bar |
| Swing | CB6140 | CF8M stainless body, 304 stainless disc | BSP female both ends | 16 bar |
| Swing | CB4248A-MM | Ductile iron EN-GJS-500-7 body, ductile iron and brass disc | PN10/PN16 flanged | 16 bar |
| Spring | CA1142, CA1100 | CW617N brass body, nylon disc, stainless spring | BSP female both ends | 16 bar |
| Spring | CR3201, CR6146 | 316 stainless (CR3201); 304 stainless and nylon (CR6146) | BSP male | See datasheet |
| Butterfly | CB3448N, CB4448-EP | Cast or ductile iron body; ductile iron plate | Between PN10/16, ASA150 flanges | 16 bar |
| Butterfly | CB3449-EPA, CB4449-EA | Cast or ductile iron body; 316 stainless plate | Between PN10/16, ASA150 flanges | 16 bar |
| Butterfly | CDB6461-VI | 316 stainless body and plate, FPM seat | PN10/16/25/40, ASA150/300 | 40 bar |
Brands listed here: Tecofi. CAD sends datasheets, size tables and CO/CQ, and advises on the valve type by mounting position (vertical or horizontal), medium and pressure.

A swing valve has a clear bore and is usually fitted on horizontal pipes; a spring valve closes fast and fits several orientations; a butterfly type is compact and clamped between flanges. Tell CAD the mounting direction and flow and we will pick the type.
